The start of summer

It has been a lazy summer weekend at our house. We spent 4 hours yesterday and 2 hours today in pool. Now it's almost Monday and I don't want to go. I can't stand Mondays. This one I know I'm not going to like because it's the first which means statments. This is going to be a long week. Do you dread Monday's as much as I do?? Bad Blogger

I am such a bad blogger. I am going to make a point to blog atleast once a week. I need to post some new photos of what has been going on. I now have an official 1st grader. I need to post k-5 graduation photos, ballet/Jazz recital and beach photos. We have had a really busy 2 weeks. Now we have a birthday party I am trying plan and wrap my head around that. This post is kind of random and crazy but I am at work right now and everyone else is at lunch so I am just posting what is on my mind right now. It is crazy how when you have disneynut as Id on things you meet so many other disney fans like yourself. I am taking a free organizing workshop this week on www.simplify101.com and I got a message today from "disneyjunkie" and of course their family loves disney too. In this very short message I learned her 10 year wedding anniversary is this september, my 10 year anniversary is in october. The other is she is in Georgia and I am in Alabama. All this and I don't ever know her real name. Anyway gotta run.

Close to the end ...

.... of school and ballet. Yesterday was McKenzie's end of the year party for school. They went bowling and to Chuck E. Cheese. She had a great time with her friends but it was a long day for all of us. Today we have dress rehersal @ 3:30 for our ballet and tap recital. I just finished rolling her hair and now we are haning out. We played hookie from school today because her teacher wasn't going to be there today and she said several other kids were going to be out so no point in going when I was just going to be getting her out early so she could be ready this afternoon. It is so hard to believe that she is going to graduate from K-5 on Tuesday and then I will have a 1st grader. I will post some pictures soon

Friday ...

so glad today is friday. Yesterday was horrible day and I'm glad I didn't have to work. I am thinking a pedicure sounds good today. I had a busy week. Tuesday was my birthday and Jeanette and I went to see Rick and Bubba and had a great time and then Wednesday McKenzie had a field trip to the zoo and I am tired. I hope everyone has a great weekend.
