Crazy Summer

This has been the busiest summer. I don't remember so much going on in the summer time. I thought is was suppost to be slower than school year. The only difference we haven't had homework. Three weeks from Monday we start back to school. My cricut and I did a little work this afternoon.

I forget how mcuh I love to do stuff like this. It has been so long since I have done anything with vinyl. I'm sure with school starting back I will start to use it again because the birthday parties with start back up.

Quick and Easy

I can't believe how easy this was. I think it only took me maybe 30 minutes. I still have balloons left so I may go back and add some more to make it a little more full. Hopefully I will have some other decorations for the party finished soon.

It's Birthday Time

So life is starting to get back to normal after the tornado. It has been crazy because once we made it back to school after the storm the end of school was just around the corner. It was a crazy month and then we hit summer with full force and now McKenzie's birthday is next week. This year it will be one of the smallest parties we have ever had. We only be having her friends and a few family members. I'm excited because I haven't made anything in a while so now I finally get make one of those ballooon wreaths I keep seeing.

I love the colors in this one but it wasn't really our party colors but McKenzie decided she wanted the bag with just the pink,purple and white so we will see what happens. Here is a picture of what I'm starting with so I hope it goes well.

I can't belive this...

My hometown of Tuscaloosa, Alabama was hit by a devastating tornado. These are just a couple pictures of my office that I was able to get back into today. As many tornado's as our town has seen I have never seen anything like this in my life. Now we have to find our new way of normal around here.

What a great day...

What a great day for an egg hunt today. Yesterday in our area was awful. We had tornadoes touch down in our town. It was a crazy day outside especially considering we were to suppose to see Sugarland last night and it was outside but it was cancelled. Anyway.. Today was beautiful !! It was a little cool out but McKenzie and her friend Olivia had a great time at the egg hunt we went to. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Splish Splash ....

So last night McKenzie gave Daisy a bath for the first time by herself. It was funny to see. She got her out and thought she was done until we realized she was still covered in soap. Needless to say Daisy was really soft and clean once she dried off.

(Yes the shower curtain is Mickey... What else ??)

Being a Sweet Friend

So this a picture of McKenzie and her new friend Olivia last sunday at her house playing and they decided they wanted shaving cream beards and loving their new Justin Beiber shirts we got the day before. We had been together all day on Saturday and then again on Sunday. Monday Olivia woke sick and ended up in the hospital on Tuesday. It turns out that she had Roto virus and was very sick. She is just now getting to feel better and they haven't been able to see each other so we thought we would send her a little messge.

We sent her mom this text to her and her mom said it brighten her day a little.
