What it would be like to if you got to get up every day and do something that you love? I do and wonder everyday if I will ever have a chance to do that one day. In this day and time I am very greatful to have a job but it in no way is it what I LOVE to do. Just a thought that crosses my mind as I get ready for another monday. So this is my latest project...my nasty,rusty mailbox. I had to scrape the stickers off of it. I just so happen to have a can of spray paint in the storage room and yes there will be vinyl involved. I hope to post the finished projects tomorrow.

Just had those times where you just feel like nothing is going your way. That is my time right now. I just don't feel happy at work but of course right now is not the time to look. I just feel so unahappy with everything. I think it's just that time of the year. This friday October 23 will be 8 years since my mother passed away. I think it's like know it deep down but it's not in the front of my mind. I may have some the things with vinyl on them to come soon. I everyone has a great rest of the week.

That is been 10 year ago today that I married my great and wonderful husband. I have been a very lucky girl. We are on an anniversary road trip. We left home yesterday drove up thru Gatlinburg,TN and got on the blue ridge parkway and drove to Ashville,NC. This morning we got up and went to the Biltmore. What a beautiful place that is. Then we went on a slight hike to the highest point east of the mississippi river and WOW. To say the least we have been busy. Tonight we are spending the night in Marion, NC. Tomorrow is just a driving trip. We will get back on the blue ridge parkway which has been soooo pretty and drive to Roanoke, VA and then on to DC on Monday and Tuesday. I will post pictures when we get back.

It's a rainy sunday around here today. It feels so much like fall and it is a nice change. Anyway my cousin let me borrow her cricut expression and vinyl.. yes her vinyl. So I made some cute water bottles for me, McKenzie the girls across the street and a little girl at school. I love them. McKenzie's is in the dishwasher right now to see how it holds up . Keep your fingers crossed. Today I have had 2 people say they want to buy them but I don't want to sell them if they don't last. Have a good week and enjoy the pics..

The pig has bitten twice in my house and McKenzie and Jonathan have the swine flu. McKenzie was diagnosed on Friday and Jonathan today. Me I have an upper respiratory infection. It's crazy in our house. Atleast I was given tamiflu so maybe I will not get it. I will keep you posted. I will be off work tomorrow and then back on Tuesday

Concerts

So I just realized that since I posted McKenzie has been to 2 concert. We saw the Jonas Brothers on August 16th and Taylor Swift on September 11th. The Taylor picture are not as good as the Jonas Brothers. Their stage was in the round and Taylor's wasn't so we were further away. Enjoy

Let me just say that Wow I did not know that it had been 2months to the day today since I last posted. I know have a busy 1st grader and have become the brownie troop leader. Our 1st meeting was last Thursday. It went great and can't wait until the next meeting. I thought I would post a few pictures from that meeting.

So I just went into the living room and this is what I found. McKenzie asleep in Jonathan's chair. She had been listening to her "ipod"(disney mix stick). She couldn't watch TV after she got home from summer camp because she got in trouble last night.

Jonas Brothers

.. are big in our house. Tonight McKenzie and I are having movie night and watching Jonas Brothers The Concert Experience. We went and saw it in the theatre but now we have it on DVD. We also have our own glow sticks just like we are at the concert. We are doing a countdown til we goe see them in concert in August. Hope you have a good weekend.

American Girl Day

So meet Gabriella the new member of our family. This is what we got McKenzie for her 6th Birthday last week. She was so excited because I made them matching dresses and their hair was even fixed the same. She doesn't know it yet but friday we are going to Atlanta for the day and going to the American Girl Store as the rest of birthday. The Grandparents are going along for the trip. It should be alot of fun. It's so hard to believe that she is six and 1 month from sunday she starts the 1st grade. Yes I said 1 month. School will start August 5th where did summer go. I better run ...it's almost her bed time.

It's Party Time

So today is McKenzie's 6th birthday party. Her actuall b'day is next Tuesday. I still can't believe that she is going to be six. It breaks my heart to wonder where my baby went. Anyway, the party isn't until 5:30 but I wanted to post a picture of her cake before hand. It turned out sooo cute. I can't wait til she see's it. I will try and post some party pictures tomorrow. I hope everyone is having a good sunday. It has been a rainy and gloomy weekend. We only had a short time on Friday and today in the pool this weekend. I hope it's not rainy next weekend. So yesterday I started cleaning the "everything" room. I didn't make it very far. I did get my some of my workspace cleaned and did a 2 projects last night. I have been wanting to make these tissue paper pom poms so the kit was on clearance for 5.00 at wal mart so I made one of them and the attempted my own. I threw away the one I made from scratch. The I made a sign to hang by our door in the garage. It's the door everyone uses when they come to our house. I'm not overly happy with it but it will do for now.

It's time to clean up my scrapbook room which really serves more than that one purpose. I think I do this every year. So you can see by the scary photos how bad it is. I also hit the "thicker" jackpot at big lots this morning. Now I just need to use them. I've got so many ideas floating in my head of things I want to do so I need to clean my room so I can get some stuff done. I will post again soon.

P.S. I really want to be out in my pool !!

The start of summer

It has been a lazy summer weekend at our house. We spent 4 hours yesterday and 2 hours today in pool. Now it's almost Monday and I don't want to go. I can't stand Mondays. This one I know I'm not going to like because it's the first which means statments. This is going to be a long week. Do you dread Monday's as much as I do?? Bad Blogger

I am such a bad blogger. I am going to make a point to blog atleast once a week. I need to post some new photos of what has been going on. I now have an official 1st grader. I need to post k-5 graduation photos, ballet/Jazz recital and beach photos. We have had a really busy 2 weeks. Now we have a birthday party I am trying plan and wrap my head around that. This post is kind of random and crazy but I am at work right now and everyone else is at lunch so I am just posting what is on my mind right now. It is crazy how when you have disneynut as Id on things you meet so many other disney fans like yourself. I am taking a free organizing workshop this week on www.simplify101.com and I got a message today from "disneyjunkie" and of course their family loves disney too. In this very short message I learned her 10 year wedding anniversary is this september, my 10 year anniversary is in october. The other is she is in Georgia and I am in Alabama. All this and I don't ever know her real name. Anyway gotta run.
