What a great day...

What a great day for an egg hunt today. Yesterday in our area was awful. We had tornadoes touch down in our town. It was a crazy day outside especially considering we were to suppose to see Sugarland last night and it was outside but it was cancelled. Anyway.. Today was beautiful !! It was a little cool out but McKenzie and her friend Olivia had a great time at the egg hunt we went to. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Splish Splash ....

So last night McKenzie gave Daisy a bath for the first time by herself. It was funny to see. She got her out and thought she was done until we realized she was still covered in soap. Needless to say Daisy was really soft and clean once she dried off.

Being a Sweet Friend

So this a picture of McKenzie and her new friend Olivia last sunday at her house playing and they decided they wanted shaving cream beards and loving their new Justin Beiber shirts we got the day before. We had been together all day on Saturday and then again on Sunday. Monday Olivia woke sick and ended up in the hospital on Tuesday. It turns out that she had Roto virus and was very sick. She is just now getting to feel better and they haven't been able to see each other so we thought we would send her a little messge.

We sent her mom this text to her and her mom said it brighten her day a little.

Surprise

I woke up to this sweet sign on my mantel(yes there is a homemade christmas card there) this morning. Such a sweet gift from McKenzie! This of course is the photo of the day for my project life. That is really hard to keep up with a photo a day. Happy Sunday !!

Craft Day

So yesterday we had craft day at my cousin's house. It was not my day . I started 3 projects but only finished 1. I think I had so many thoughts in my head nothing was working for me. It wasn't a great day but we had fun. The only thing I did make was so little round fabric hair clips for McKenzie. They still need the finishing touches of some little button or big jewel in the middle. All in all it was a great day.

LOVE it !!!

I LOVE Michelle Hill and all of the things she does. I am so excited for her first on line class!!! I finally got my kit in the mail on Monday. I hope to get to work on it this weekend. It has lots of really cute and neat things I have never done before. Michelle has a website called polka dot whimsy and she has great kits. I use to subscribe but it got to be too much for me to spend monthly when I didn't have time to do them. I decided to splurge on this one and can't wait. I will post the pictures when I finish.
